Dr. Craig Dowden describes his coaching practice as bridging
the gap between what science knows and what leaders do. What
science has found, he says, is that harnessing resilience is
two-part process: first, finding our way back to baseline – i.e.,
where we were before our crucible hit; and second, charting a
course to move beyond that point. To not merely bounce back, but
bounce forward. "We as human beings," he tells us research has
shown time and again, "are far more resilient than we give
ourselves credit for."
